
Basketball games for Thursday, January 6 and Friday, January 7 have been cancelled. Friday nights game has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 20, 2022.


DeWitt School Board Member Kenneth Graves is a 2021 ASBA Boardsmanship Award Recipient. Mr. Graves received the Platinum Award for having 400+ School Board Training Hours. Mr. Graves is a long standing board member on the DeWitt School Board and we are thankful for his service.


It is with deep regret that we inform you about a recent loss to our school community. On December 3rd, Kyler Counce, an 8th grade student was in an accident in which he lost his life. This loss is sure to raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school, especially our students.
On Monday, December 6th, we will have counselors available for any student who may need or want help or any type of assistance surrounding this loss. If you need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our counselor, Courtny Barnett at 870-946-3814, or cbarnett@dewittdragons.net.

The Dragons are hosting the Malvern Leopards this Friday in Round 1 of the Playoffs!

Due to current COVID-19 data within our school district boundaries, effective 10/13/21, the district will transition to a new method of determining whether face coverings are required. The new method will be based on criteria published by ACHI and the number of quarantines within the district. Detailed criteria can be found on our webpage. Based on the current data, effective tomorrow, 10/13/21, masks will be optional but recommended inside school buildings.

DeWitt Elementary School = Wednesday, September 15th

Picture order forms have been sent home with the students and must be completed and submitted to the photographer on picture day.


The DeWitt School District is currently accepting applications for an English Learner Paraprofessional, job duties include working with students who speak English as a second language.
