The DeWitt School District provides a health services program under the direction of a licensed nurse at each campus. The program includes screening, referral and follow-up procedures for all students. Facilities, equipment and materials necessary for the operation of the program are provided by the district. Current health appraisal records for all students are maintained in accordance with guidelines provided by the Arkansas State Department of Education.
