We want to give a warm welcome to our newest staff member, SRO Christopher Stockard! Officer Stockard is our school resource officer coming on board to DeWitt Schools this year. He has previously worked for ten years with the Arkansas Department of Corrections before becoming a certified Police Officer in 2019 and joining the Stuttgart Police Department. Officer Stockard has four children who attend DeWitt Schools. He is looking forward to being more involved in his children's schools and our community this year. We are thrilled to have him on our team!

Attention Parents:
The State and Federal guidelines require that all special education due process forms and records be destroyed within (6) six years after a student leaves the special education or speech/language therapy program.
You have the right to review and pick up your child's due process records. They will be available for the DeWitt School District in the Special Education office from Monday, September 18th through Friday, September 29th, 2023.
The records which are not picked up will be destroyed on Monday, October 2nd, 2023. If there are questions or concerns about records, please contact Paige Gunnell, Special Education Director, at (870)946-2541.
THESE ARE NOT YOUR CHILD'S PERMANENT SCHOOL RECORDS, THEY ARE ONLY SPECIAL EDUCATION DUE PROCESS FORMS AND RECORDS.

All 1,100 students in the DeWitt School District will receive their own box of school supplies on the first day of school. Your donation could make a difference in the life of a child.
Donations may be mailed to
