The DeWitt School District will be CLOSED on Monday, January 26, 2026 due to winter weather & unsafe road conditions. Enjoy your snow day and be safe, Dragons!
Heads up, Dragons! In DeWitt we are closely monitoring the incoming weather system. At this time, we feel confident that tomorrow will be a normal day of school and no early dismissal should be needed.
IF the timing changes and the system moves in faster tomorrow, we will notify parents via school text and on social media of any early dismissal time as soon as possible.
Please stay safe over the weekend and we will update the status of next week once the storm system moves out on Sunday and we can assess overall conditions. We will announce any closures or delays via school text, on social media and all of the major news outlets.
DeWitt Schools will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr Day. Classes will resume as normal on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
