Would YOU consider this career? 🤔

Mrs. Sebree’s JAG students spent the week taking a series of career surveys that matched them with potential careers based on their interests and skills. Now, they’re turning their findings into creative career posters!

Students researched job duties, education, salary, job outlook, Arkansas opportunities, skills, and more—then added their own creativity with pictures, drawings, and designs.

Great job, JAG students, exploring your futures and thinking about what it would REALLY be like to have the career you researched!

Attention Parents & Students

Preparing for Life After High School!

Students in Ms. Morgan’s Senior English classes are researching and comparing three colleges/universities, trade schools, or military career options as they prepare for their future beyond high school.

As part of the project, students are developing a thesis statement that establishes their purpose for determining which institution or career pathway best aligns with their future goals. They are collecting and citing reliable online sources as they research key areas, including: General information about the institution; Admission requirements; Housing options; Financial aid; Programs of study; and Campus life.

After completing their research, students will create an informative slideshow to present their findings and recommendations to their classmates.

This project gives students an opportunity to practice research, source evaluation, critical thinking, writing, and public speaking skills while exploring real-world options for their futures. We’re excited to see where their research takes them!
