DRAGONETTES ARE HEADED TO THE SEMIS!!!

Thinking back on last week... our Valedictorian's speech was excellent! Due to technical difficulties, the livestream did not work during graduation to record the speech of Presley, our Valedictorian. We wanted to give everyone a chance to read her words, hear what she had to say in her final moments as a DHS student, and cheer her on for her accomplishments!

There will be a parent meeting for the 2026 Football season and Lift-A-Thon on MONDAY, MAY 18!

If your student is receiving an award, letters will be handed out in their History classes today.

DHS will hold our Underclassmen Awards on Thursday, May 14th.

This year we are going to split up the classes to make the assemblies go more smoothly. The times for each grade are included in the photo.

We will send notes home with students if they are getting an award. They should go home by Tuesday, May 12th.

Monday, May 11th, DeWitt High School will have free physicals for all student athletes who plan to participate next school year.

Forms are being sent home with students today. They must be completed and given to the health providers on Monday in order to get the physical.

DHS Seniors Presley Hill and Judd Qualls were honored with an invitation to the Governor's Mansion to recognize their academic achievements. The 2026 Arkansas Governor's Scholastic Honors Day was held on Saturday, May 2 , 2026. These students, along with many other seniors from the state of Arkansas, were allowed to visit, eat, celebrate, and meet Governor Sanders as well as tour the grounds. Congratulations!
