Mental Health Awareness Week is observed annually during the first full week of May. The week is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and mental illness, challenging associated stigmas, and providing support and resources to students and their families. By fostering open conversations and providing supportive environments, Mental Health Awareness Week plays a crucial role in promoting the overall well-being of students. DHS is a proud supporter of Mental Health. Many of our students are proud members are the Mental Health Matters Club that Mrs. Meg started on campus. Join us in raising awareness!

DeWitt High School art students participated in the 2025 Arkansas Art Educators Eastern Regional Art Show held at the EACC Fine Arts Center in Forrest City, AR on Tuesday, April 29th. 13 artworks from DHS students were selected for display and were recognized for their achievements: 9th Grade: Kyra Wood-Mullins, 3rd Place Ava-Grace Grantham, 1st Place, Best in Show 10th Grade: Jane Witt Lola Shook, 3rd Place 11th Grade: Hailey Guy, 2nd Place Taylor Hopson, 1st Place, Best in Show 12th Grade: Katie Abel Emma Sullivan Dezerae Watkins Kaden Isom, 4th Place Briley Davis, 3rd Place Sean Snyder, 2nd Place Henlee Morton, 1st Place, Best in Show The "Best in Show" winners' works will be on display at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library from June 14th-August 31st.
