Another delicious day was had in FACS today! Students made bread from the beginnings with flour and yeast and paired it with their own made from scratch butter. They are studying kitchen safety, measurements, and lots of other cooking essentials this semester in Family Consumer Science! Thanks Mrs. Ullrich for making learning so fun. In Family and Consumer Science, they are beginning their studies in nutrition. Today Mrs. Ullrich presented a lesson on presentation and how that can really make nutrition more fun. The students had a dessert and they had to plate it with 3 factors in mind: space, sauce, and garnish. You can see some photos of the student's plated desserts. It’s play time! DHS production of Sync Sensation will be this Friday, November 22nd. Show times will start at 8:30 with DES PK-2nd grade, 9:45 for DES 3rd-5th, 1:00 for DMS, 2:15 for DHS and for the community at 6:30. We hope you see you there!
