PeeWee Cheer Clinic is quickly approaching! Senior High cheerleaders can’t wait to hold clinic September 19-22 in the DES Gym! Forms are being sent home with students today and cost is $40! If you have any questions, please contact Coach Elaine Hornbeck at DHS.

Two of our DeWitt High School Students, Hailey Zornes and Jordan Brown, earned honors from @CollegeBoard’s National Recognition Programs, helping them stand out in admissions.

Let's paint the town blue and gold! Dragon Cheerleaders are holding this contest once again for the 2022 Football Season. The first home Dragon Football game is Friday, September 9, and judging will take place the same day! This year, two DeWitt High School Seniors had the privilege of being selected and attending Arkansas Governor's School. Arkansas Governor's School is a four week Summer program for students between their Junior and Senior years of High School. The Arkansas Governor’s School is a non-credit program that seeks to create a unique experience for a select group of Arkansas’ best students—the potential leaders of the 21st century. Both inside and outside the classrooms, AGS provides highly motivated, creative students with an intellectual atmosphere impossible to sustain in ordinary academic settings. The excitement of intellectual and artistic pursuits and the expectation of significant conceptual gains permeate all aspects of the participants’ lives for the full four weeks. We are so proud of our two attendees, Kenzie West and Hailey Zornes! Congratulations, girls.

Dragon Football begins TONIGHT as the Junior Dragons take on the Barton Bears at Dragon Stadium! Kick off is at 7PM! Admission is $5 per person. Go Dragons Go!

Mrs. McFerrin's students are putting in the work and getting a new lab done! Today in chemistry students learned to bend water with static electricity.
