Hey Dragon Fans! It's Homecoming Week and it's almost game day.

Pep Rally is at 9:00 on the field Friday. The crowning ceremony is at 2:00 in the DHS Cafeteria. The Homecoming Field Ceremony is right before kick off on Friday evening.

Come support our Dragons as they take on Jacksonville! Go Dragons!

In Keystone class, our 9th graders are learning all sorts of things to help them plan their educational journey in high school and beyond. This year, they will learn about credits, required courses for graduation, and completer pathways such as Business, Welding, or Agriculture. They learn how to figure their GPA, and on Friday they were given a sample schedule they made themselves and had to figure yearly GPA's as well as an overall GPA.

We are so proud of our students for learning about their futures and we are proud of our Keystone teachers for teaching them all of the many possibilities that high school, college, and employment can offer them! Our future is so bright, and we cannot wait to watch all of these Freshman succeed in life!

Flu Clinic will be September 29, 2025. Students have received forms this week. Please send back signed forms if you would like your student to receive a flu vaccine.

Testing dates for next week!

9th graders in Mrs. Tanner's physical science classes made "whirligigs" as they explored science and engineering practices. Learning hands on can be impactful as well as fun!

Dragons are on the road to Central Arkansas Christian to take on the Mustangs this Friday, August 29! Kick off is at 7:00 PM.

Homecoming is quickly approaching! Homecoming is scheduled for the week of September 8 -12, 2025! Here are the Dress Up Days for HOCO 25 for DHS!

Homecoming will be here before you know it! 2025 Homecoming shirts are now on sale at the DHS office for $20. Deadline for orders will be Tuesday, August 26th by noon!

The Junior & Senior High Dragons will play a Benefit Game AT DRAGON STADIUM on TUESDAY, AUGUST 19!! Jr High will kick off at 6PM followed by SR High at 7PM! GO DRAGONS GO!!

How did we start off the first day of school? With a little spirit, of course! DHS students had a back to school assembly with a little music from the DeWitt Mighty Dragon Band and cheers from our DHS cheerleaders! Here's to a great year! Go Dragons!

Community Service Opportunity for Class of 2027, 2028, & 2029!! Today! Text Mrs. April Herring at the number below.
She will sign off on your forms for hours if you come. You will turn in forms to CTE teachers when school starts next week. Remember, Class of 2027 and beyond must have 75 hours total of Community Service by the time they are ending their Senior year. This is an Arkansas Graduation Requirement.
