Tomorrow is a teacher workday at DES for K-5 Teachers. Students in grades K-5 WILL NOT have class.
Pre School Classes WILL be in session.

These 12 students were the 3rd Grade Individual Classroom Spelling Bee Winners! They all went on to compete to be the overall 3rd Grade Spelling Bee Champion!

The DES School Spelling Bee will be Friday December 13th, 2024 at 9:00 am in the DES Cafeteria. Participants families are welcome to attend.
The 4th Grade Musical is today, December 6th, at 1:30 pm in the DES Cafeteria!

Mrs. Lori Bailey, an educator with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, was the first speaker in our Conservation Education Guest Lecture series at DES.
She talked to the students about alligators, turtles and their habitats. She also talked about how important conservation education is for not only students, but adults as well!
The high light of her visit was when she brought out the baby alligator and turtle! The students loved learning and visiting with Mrs. Lori!

Our 4th Grade Musical, "The Movies, The Music, Celebrating 75 Years of Disney Magic!" will be held on Friday December 6th, 2024 at 1:30 pm in the DES Cafeteria.
