Educator Appreciation Week is May 2-6. In anticipation of this week, DMS wants to honor one of our educators who helps make DMS a great place to work and learn. Thank you for your service to our students, school & community.

Don't forget to set your clocks 1 hour ahead tonight! It might be snowy outside, but it is time to Spring Forward!
See you all Monday morning!

Our 3rd annual Deer Classic Contest was a success! Thanks to all of the hunters for sharing their pictures of the deer they harvested this season. Thank you to Webb's Sporting Goods for the t-shirts! Looking forward to next season!

Teacher Appreciation Week is the week of May 2-6, but we wanted to take time out each day leading up to that week to highlight one of our teachers or staff members.
DMS is blessed to have educators and professionals that work with our students to help them grow and learn. We appreciate you all today and everyday.

Attention all Readers! Here's a March Reading Challenge for you. This challenge is in this month's RISE (Reading Initiative for Student Excellence) Newsletter.

DMS Parents & Families:
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair. This is an event that gives opportunities for our students to build their home libraries to further their love for reading.
This Spring Book Fair will be a familiar, welcome, and safe event for our students. It will take place from March 3 - March 10.
Our book fair will offer eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. You can create a free account to add funds and to invite family to contribute so your child can select their own books.
If you can't make it in person, you can shop the school's Online book fair. Orders will ship directly to your home, and shipping is free with orders over $25.00.
Visit our Book Fair Homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet:

We are excited to celebrate our love for books together again.
Happy Reading!
Ms. Pam Carver, DMS Librarian

DMS Students:
Many of you have reached out to let us know that you've lost power, internet, or both. Our teachers are aware of this, and will work with you to be sure that your work will be submitted when circumstances allow.
If you are able, reach out to your teacher via Schoology or email to let them know what is going on. Thank you to the students who have already done so.
Today is Day 5 & tomorrow will be Day 6 of AMI Work. All of this work is available via your Schoology Dashboard.
Above all, please stay warm & safe until conditions improve.
-Mrs. Rachel
