In their third year tournament fishing with Arkansas youth BASS Nation, 8th grader Landon Parker and 7th grader Jacob Watson ended the 2021-2022 season as Junior division Anglers of the Year for both the Central and Southern trails. AYBN has seven trails within the state (Arkansas Youth Anglers in northwest Arkansas, Northern trail, Northeast trail, Central Trail, Southern Trail, Trader Bill's in Hot Springs, and Ark-La-Tex trail). Angler of the Year is won by accumulating the most points throughout the season by placement in tournaments within each trail. This is the first time, since AYBN started five years ago, that a team has won AOY in two different trails. They recently competed in the AYBN State tournament jr. division, where they placed sixth and won Big bass on day 1.
