Congratulations to our teacher of the week, Mrs. Hubsch! Mrs. Dot Hubsch is the Chemistry, Physics, and Robotics teacher at DeWitt High School. She also coaches MAAD Dragon Robotics and Quiz Bowl. She has worked in education for 36 years, 23 spent in Gillett Schools and the last 13 years have been at DeWitt High School. Her favorite thing about teaching are those “ah-ha!” moments when it just clicks for a student. We are so thankful for all Mrs. Hubsch does for our school - from meeting with Quiz Bowl and Robotics during her lunch period to volunteering to help our wherever needed, she is definitely an asset to our school.

Semester Test Schedule for Fall 2021 is as follows.

Mrs. JoAnn Cox is our Teacher of the Week! Mrs. Cox is our Junior English, AP Language, and AP Literature teacher as well as Beta Club sponsor. She has been teaching for 15 years. We asked Mrs. Cox her favorite thing about our community and she said "DeWitt and the high school take care of its own; whether it's a food drive for the pantry or the town bedecked in blue and gold during football season, we look out for one another. This is the first community that I've lived in that makes me feel like home." Congratulations, Mrs. Cox and thank you for everything you do for our school!

Art lll students created abstract drawings of animals using colored pencil techniques. The animals were drawn with simple line, then cross contour lines. Colored pencil was used for color, shade, and contrast."

Art l students drew self-portraits using Contour Line..
