Our biology classes extracted DNA from strawberries today. Strawberries are octoploids, so they are a perfect organism for DNA extraction!
Congratulations to Dragon Track yesterday! We are so proud of these students and their hard work. Jaden Steeland is the 2023 3A State Champion for discus with a new State Record of 141'7"! Korri Graham, Gabby Vega, Griffin Whitmore, and Justin Ross are the 2023 3A State Runner Ups in the 4X400 Relay! Justin Ross placed 7th in the 300 hurdles. Harlyn Padgett placed 8th in the 1 Mile and 7th in the 2 Mile. These are incredible athletes we have! Way to go, Dragons!

Jordan Brown and Hailey Zornes were chosen to attend The Governor’s Scholastic Honors Day which recognizes Arkansas’ best and brightest students. These two scholars were selected as two best representations of excellent academic achievement in their senior class. We are so proud of these two students and their accomplishments!

AP Calculus students & Coach Bly spent some time outside today preparing for the AP exam. Each question is worth 9 puts and that is a perfect 9/9 answer!
Baseball games for Thursday against PW and Friday against Lake Village have been cancelled. Lake Village is a forfeit.
Softball tomorrow at Woodlawn is cancelled and Friday’s game against Lake Village is now tomorrow at home at 4:30.
