Tomorrow begins ACT Aspire testing at DES for all 3rd - 5th Grade students. Testing will be Tuesday - Friday. Help them do their best by helping them get to bed early, eating a healthy a filling breakfast each morning and starting the day in a positive way! We know they are prepared, and it is time to show it!

Kinderlympics will be postponed due to the high chance of rain. It is rescheduled for Monday, April 26th at 1:30. This event is for parents of Kindergarten students only.
In preparation for testing at DES, students in 3rd Grade - 5th Grade need to permanently return their school assigned chrome book and charger. The chrome books and chargers will be kept at school. They will no longer be bringing them back and forth from home to school.

DeWitt Elementary School will be closed Friday in recognition of the Good Friday Holiday. Classes will resume as regularly scheduled on Monday.

Today is the Day - Kindergarten Registration!!!!
Kindergarten Registration will be held on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at DeWitt Elementary School. A mask will be required to enter the building. You will need to bring the following items for the child/children you are registering: official birth certificate current immunization/shot records official copy of child's social security number early periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment (EPSDT)/Well Child Check-up proof of residence Children entering Kindergarten must be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2021
Attention 5th Grade Parents:
It's Pre-Registration Time! This year, we will do pre-registration virtually. We ask that you view the tutorial videos to get information about the courses, then watch the how-to video to help you understand the Google Form, and then finally complete the Google Form. The links to all of these resources are provided below.
It is recommended that you and your student discuss possible courses they'd like to take next year and complete the form. This doesn't mean that all courses requested will be the courses they have, but it will give us a great idea of how to begin building their schedule for the 2021-22 school year.
