Please be patient with us as we work out the kinks of the new year. Starting tomorrow morning the 4th & 5th Grade Car Riders will be dropped off in the back car line instead of the front car line. This should help ease the morning congestion of the drop off line. Please remember to not pass any busses in the line, as this is their drop of area as well.

On Monday, we ask that you please send a note with your child to inform their homeroom teacher how they will be riding home this year. For example: Johnny will be a car rider or Sally will be a bus rider on bus T. If you do not know which bus your child will ride, please call the office today or Monday to find out their bus letter. Thank you for your time and help and we look forward to a great school year!

On the first day of school for Kindergarten Students, 1 parent can walk their kindergarten child into the building and to their class. If you would like to walk your child into school, you will need to come at 8:30. Masks are required for the parents who chose to walk their child into the school on the first day. All other students in grades 1-5 will need to be at school by our normal times: arrival no earlier than 7:40 with the tardy bell ringing at 8:05. On Tuesday, Kindergarten students will follow the same morning arrival procedures as all other students at DES.
