Congratulations to Mrs. Lindsay Beaton for writing and receiving a $10,000 grant from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to further the Outdoor Education program at DeWitt Elementary School!
The grant money received will help continue programs like Camp Dragon for 4th & 5th Grade, the 3rd Grade Fishing Derby & Fishing Program and it will help introduce bird watching and identification for students in K-2! We can't wait to see all of the ways Mrs. Lindsay teaches our students to be active in the outdoors!
